2022 Sunset Print Competition

The goal for 2022 is to increase the number of photographers having the opportunity to win a Sunset Print Award, while at the same time creating inter-category competitions to recognize the unique “elements of excellence” within a category. The 2022 Sunset Print Awards will be available to colleges, camera clubs, etc., in addition to Professional organizations like PPA. Each competition will be required to meet a set of minimum requirements. If your organization qualifies ( 150+ printed entries), and is interested in including a Sunset Print Award in your print competition, please complete an application  “Sunset Print Award Application”.

PPA District Competitions offer Sunset Print Awards in the following categories*:

• • Animals
  • Artist
  • Children
  • Illustrative/Commercial
  • Landscape/Nature
  • Portrait
  • Senior
  • Wedding

All PPA District winners compete at the Annual National Sunset Print Competition during the PPA International Photographic Competition (IPC).

*In 2021, only one Sunset Print Award will be available for "Best Image in Exhibition"
